Unfrozen is designed with privacy at its core. We built this app to help you clean, not to collect your data. Here's exactly how your information is handled.
When you start a cleaning session, your photo is sent to the Anthropic Claude API through our Cloudflare Worker proxy for analysis. The proxy exists solely to protect our API key — it performs no logging, storage, or processing of your photos. Once the AI generates your cleaning plan, the photo is discarded. Your photos are never stored on any server.
Anthropic's API does not use submitted data to train their models. For details, see Anthropic's privacy policy.
All of your app data — areas, cleaning sessions, tasks, rounds, settings, and progress — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Unfrozen does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, phone number, or other personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. If you voluntarily provide your email address to join our launch waitlist, see the "Waitlist emails" section below.
If you sign up for launch notifications on our website, we collect only your email address. Here's how it's handled:
Unfrozen does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We do not track how you use the app, what you tap, or how often you open it.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. All payment processing occurs through your Apple ID and the App Store. We never receive, process, or store your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing information.
Unfrozen is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child under 13 is using the app, please contact us.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
